Thanks for visiting and welcome to our fundraising appeal! We have an urgent request for donations to our renovation project, called Renewing Our Sacred Space
Our Holy Redeemer Chapel is the heart and home of the Retreat Center. It is the most important place for guests to gather inside the Center. It needs extensive renovation and we are excited to share these plans with you:
Installation of proper climate control (HVAC) to ensure the comfort of retreatants year-round
Installation and upgrade of both electrical and natural lighting through the addition of skylights and windows
Replacement of the carpeting and new seating with kneelers
Reconciliation Rooms to provide a proper setting for the celebration of the sacrament. Our present Confessionals do not meet the safety standards for ministry with children and vulnerable adults
As you can see from the rendering at left, our renewed Holy Redeemer Chapel will be a beautiful place to gather, pray and receive God's gifts of love and mercy.
Our Fundraising Appeal: A $500k Renovation Goal
We have enlisted experienced professionals to complete this project with the quality of service we deserve. The basic principle in this project has been simplicity but simple is by no means inexpensive. The total cost for the renovation of the Chapel as outlined is $500,000.00.
Here’s how you can help: we have been given a pledge of $150,000.00 that will be matched once we have received that amount from individual donors. Will you consider donating today?
We are simply seeking donations from our neighbors, patrons, and retreatants. In other words, we are reaching out to members of Our Mother of Perpetual Help Family.
Our goal is to reach the initial, matching-donation milestone of $150,000 by July 15, 2024
