Loving Father, in your goodness you provide for us our daily bread.  We thank you for your generosity to us.  Open our hearts to our sisters and brothers.  Help us to be your children by responding to their needs, even as you continually care for us.  You have touched our hearts with your gentle love.  Let us be aware of those who suffer a spiritual hunger that has not yet been satisfied and may our concern for them reflect your goodness to us.

 

Mary, Mother of Perpetual Help, you understood God's goodness to you and refused him nothing. Bring all your children to your Son, especially those who are in most need  of your consolation.  Join us as we pray for those who are making retreats in the days ahead. May they also be filled with the Holy Spirit and magnify the Lord by knowing the greatness of your love for them.
